When I bought my first place, I realized that I really wanted to make it my own. Unfortunately, since I didn't have thousands of dollars to spend on furniture, I didn't think that I could afford to beautify the space. Instead of creating a dramatic and beautiful display, I simply settled for what I already had, which made my home boring. However, a friend of mine explained that I could turn things around by transforming my existing furniture. I started refinishing tables, painting furniture, and creating my own artwork.
